High purity glycol additive with inhibitors used in gas turbine compressor washing and rinsing fluids to help prevent freezing under low temperature operating conditions
RXSOL Gas Turbine Compressor Wash Antifreeze is a glycol-based antifreeze additive designed for use in gas turbine compressor washing and rinsing fluids under low-temperature operating conditions. It helps prevent freezing of the cleaning solution during compressor washing and rinsing operations when ambient temperatures fall below the normal operating range.
The product is based on technical-grade glycols, selected for low volatility and relatively low toxicity compared with many alternative glycol-based antifreeze agents. It is intended to be added to the compressor wash solution in accordance with the recommendations of the gas turbine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
Antifreeze for gas turbine compressor washing manufactured and supplied as a concentrate for dilution at site. Get cost effective Antifreeze for gas turbine compressor washing liquid and mix it as per dilution given below with RXSOL Gas Turbine Cleaner GTC 1000 or RXSOL 27 Gas Turbine Cleaner.

- Controlled Dilution: Allows the antifreeze concentration to be adjusted according to ambient temperature and applicable OEM recommendations.
- Versatile Application: Suitable for incorporation into compatible aqueous compressor cleaning and rinsing solutions.
How to use RXSOL Gas Turbine Compressor Washing Antifreeze along with RXSOL GTC 1000 / RXSOL 27 Gas Turbine Cleaner?
The product is intended for use as an antifreeze additive in aqueous cleaning and rinsing fluids used during gas turbine compressor washing.
It may be used where low ambient temperatures create a risk of freezing during the washing, rinsing, or associated operating procedures.
The required concentration depends on the ambient temperature, the composition of the cleaning solution, and the specific requirements of the gas turbine manufacturer.
Important: Always follow the gas turbine OEM's instructions regarding antifreeze selection, concentration, compatibility, and compressor washing procedures. Do not assume that the recommended mixture is suitable for every turbine model or cleaning formulation.

6.1 Personal Precautions, Protective Equipment and Emergency Procedures
No special personal safety precautions are normally required for small quantities under normal conditions of use. Avoid unnecessary contact with the spilled product and use appropriate personal protective equipment where prolonged contact or large-scale spills are involved.
6.2 Environmental Precautions
Dilute with plenty of water where appropriate and safe to do so. Do not allow the undiluted product or large quantities of the material to enter sewers, surface water or ground water. Prevent uncontrolled release into the environment.
6.3 Methods and Material for Containment and Cleaning Up
Contain the spill and collect the material using suitable liquid-binding/absorbent materials, such as:
-
Sand
-
Diatomite
-
Acid binders
-
Universal binders
-
Sawdust
Collect the absorbed material into suitable, properly labelled containers for appropriate disposal in accordance with applicable local regulations. Clean the affected area with water after removal of the spilled material, while preventing contaminated wash water from entering drains or watercourses.
6.4 Additional Information
Under normal conditions of use and handling, no dangerous substances are released. Avoid uncontrolled discharge of concentrated product into drains or natural water systems.
